Photoluminescence Measurement

Description

Horiba/Jobin-Yvon Fluorolog-3 spectrofluorometer with 450W xenon lamp equipped with various types of detectors (a Hamamatsu R928P photomultiplier for UV-visible range, a Hamamatsu R2658P photomultiplier for UV-vis-NIR range, a PbS solid-state detector for NIR-IR range). Low-temperature measurements are possible using a Janis cryostat  specially dedicated for the spectrofluorometer. Beside the continuous excitation from xenon lamp through a monochromator, a pulsed excitation by a few pulsed laser diodes is possible as well.

Specification

Main features and measuring modes:

  • a continuous excitation from 200 to 1150 nm;
  • a pulsed excitation at 264, 371, 304, 405, 978 nm;
  • emission registration from 300 to 3000 nm;
  • temperature range from 4 to 330 K;
  • photoluminescence (PL) spectra  measuring;
  • photoluminescence excitation (PLE) spectra measuring;
  • photoluminescence decay kinetics measuring in time interval from 20 ns to 10 ms.

Applications
